WINNIPEG, Manitoba — At 17, Winnipeg DJ and producer LxAM is preparing for a significant career milestone with the release of “Get Out My Way,” due December 11, 2026, on Liftoff Recordings.
The independent label was founded by Disco Fries, the U.S. electronic duo of Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic. Known for their work across dance and pop music, Disco Fries have collaborated with Tiësto and delivered remixes for Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida.
LxAM, born Liam Harvey, enters the label’s catalogue following Spotify editorial support for his single “I Just Wanna Dance,” which appeared on Spotify’s Bangers playlist. The young Canadian producer’s sound combines catchy vocals, driving basslines and house rhythms designed to create energy on the dancefloor.
“Get Out My Way” is a 128 BPM vocal house single about breaking away from a relationship that has become limiting. Its lyrics focus on reclaiming confidence and refusing to let another person stand in the way of personal growth.
“This song comes from that feeling of needing to move on,” LxAM said. “I wanted it to have a message people could relate to, but still be something that makes them want to dance.”
The release marks a new chapter for the Winnipeg artist, whose stage name reworks “Liam” and uses the X as a symbol of experimentation. With roots in Manitoba and experience spending time in Miami, LxAM is continuing to develop his own lane in dance music.
